
PEER SUPPORT
The Crossroad Peer Support program is an online platform which provides support to students experiencing emotional distress by connecting them with trained peer supporters and psychologists. The student supporters, trained in active listening by advising professionals, interacts with the student seeking help via an anonymous and confidential chat. To facilitate a safe environment for the students to share lived experience of stress in areas of the pandemic, school, and family, this program includes activities and weekly group discussions led by student moderators that aims to foster social connection during times of isolation.
